I made $1,000 from blogging.
No, I didn’t make my money from the “traditional” ways of blogging – you know, ads, affiliate marketing, or online courses either.
The way I created my income was through another unique way that I feel not many people talk about or even see as a way to make money blogging.
The way I made money blogging was taking my blogging content and turning it into a presentation, which I gave away for free, and then I got on discovery calls and gained clients from there.
Wondering which blog posts I turned into a presentation?

How to come up with your Blogging Content
Six Easy Ways to be Seen and Heard with Your Blogs
If you’re thinking, “That’s too much work, Monica, and I don’t need a blog to come up with a free class.”
You’re right, you don’t.
But here’s the difference: my blogs are still impacting other people lives, not just the 80+ or so people I presented to since that time I created the presentation. And I was able to kill two birds with one stone: I got to impact people lives both online and offline – a skill that many entrepreneurs don’t know how to do (they seem to think it’s either one or the other, rather than a mixture of both).
So getting back to making money, the first time I held the presentation, I worked with Roxy Jordet and her business partner at the time to create content for their blog and message. They were actually my first high-ticketed clients and I was so nervous to work with them at the time!
Fast forward a few years later, Roxy is still a dear friend, mentor, kick-me-in-my-tush rockstar that I would never have met without hosting my presentation. That just goes to show you never know who you’ll meet because you turn your online content into offline work.
This was the beginning of my love for blogging and sharing that with others how important it is for business owners to have a blog for themselves. It all started from a blog series I decided to write and turn into a presentation.
Since then, I have worked with female entrepreneurs from the same presentation to get their blogs out into the world.
This same content has fueled my online courses, webinars, eBooks, workbooks, newsletter content, social media content, and other blogs that I cannot even tell you how I have repurposed my content to get myself and my brand seen and heard all across the interwebs and physically.
Yes, I have made more than $1,000, but the money I’m thinking of is the money that I made from working with Roxy, in particular, using this one presentation the first time I gave it. This doesn’t include the money I made from other clients using the same presentation or repurposing the very same content into workbooks, courses, and more!
Now that you know how I have made money in the past using a blog, isn’t it time to do the same? I want to encourage you to schedule a call with me and let’s see where you can create revenue with your brilliance while building your platform and designing the life you love!
