My heart pounded with anxiety and my mind spun with fear.

I really wanted to be inside of my coach’s latest programs because I knew I needed it, but I didn’t have the money.

I am still building my business and now I want to add something else on top of it all?!

Am I going insane?

When does it all stop?

Maybe you have felt like this; your heart ached to be inside of a program and you knew it was the one thing that would move you forward. But the money or time was not there. You grimaced at the thought of not going in on this special deal.

What did I do?

Am I making the best decision?

I did what any person would do and said, “Yes, I’ll commit.”

I have no idea how I am going to pay for it.

Why would I do such a thing?

I must be crazy.

Maybe there’s a method to my madness – I said yes to myself because my coach told me things that I just happened to agree with and I knew I have experienced it in my own life so I couldn’t say anything disagreeing back to it.

When we say yes to ourselves, we say yes to our own success.

As my coach talked to me, I was telling her about my financial situation even though I have 10 calls this week and half of them are sales conversations. She told me that I was living in fear (which I knew I was) and was limiting myself and what I can do.

“When you live in fear and hold yourself back, the Universe notices and won’t bring you the success you desire because it sees you as not being serious.”

She also told me when I say yes to myself and my business, the Universe (or in this case and my own belief, my Higher Power, Jesus) will see I am saying yes, I am going after my success and I’m serious and I know the rewards will be great.

Also, I couldn’t argue with this because my coach has literally changed my business life in such ways that it’s incredible to see the growth I have taken to be where I am now. Because I said yes then (and no, I didn’t have the money), I know saying yes again can only lead to big, wonderful things!

When I live in fear, I cannot be successful.

How many successful people do you know who doubt their product or service? How many successful people do you know who have no imagination?

I am currently reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and on page 31, he states,

“No one is ready for a thing until he believes he can acquire it. The state of mind must be belief, not mere hope or wish. Open-mindedness is essential for belief. Closed minds do not inspire faith, courage or belief.”

In other words, closed minds, or minds that live in constant fear (fear of lack of money, time, resources, etc.), has no room for inspiration, courage or faith. How can you have faith if you are afraid?

If I want to be successful, I have to have an open mind and believe that I can accomplish anything. This will inspire faith, courage and belief, which are essentials to running a business! Just this morning (seriously guys, this morning!), I prayed to God, “Please help me to be brave.” I think I even added to be brave in the areas that would scare me.

And four hours later, He took me up on my challenge and gave me a heart racing, panic freezing test to see how I would react.

I think I passed. This should also teach you to be careful what you ask God for.

I am saying yes to things that are yet to be attained.

In Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill states,

“Success comes to those who become success conscious. Failure comes to those who are indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.”

One of the principals in the book is that one must have a burning desire for what one wants to be successful. I know what I want and I am taking the necessary action to obtain them. Now it’s working on my mind to consciously choose to be successful.

One of the ways I do this is by saying throughout the day, “I am prosperous!” or “I do not have to fear because that’s not in my God-given gifts!” Or proclaiming what I truly want in the next 30 days.

The more I say it, the more I believe it, the better chance I have of it coming to me. I truly believe that if I put in my part (action taking and seeking out opportunities), then I will be rewarded. I know if I continue to work on myself, then I will create abundance, whether it’s money or personal growth. Either way, I win.

What are you resisting today?

In conclusion, what are you allowing to be held back because of doubt, fear and worry? What limits are you holding over yourself because you’re constantly making excuses and choosing not to live in possibilities? If I can say yes, so can you. You might think I’m braver than you. I’m not – trust me.

Say Yes to your fear to create inspiration, faith and courage today. The possibilities are endless.

Or say No and create fear, worry and remain exactly where you are, attracting what you’ve always attracted. How are you liking that by the way?

It’s all your choice. Your life literally depends on which one you chose to believe in because it’s all in your head. Literally.
